To whom it may concern....
I'm home and doing well. So come visit!
My "right-hand lady" Jackie is typing this blog for me while I sit in my chair and recouperate. Dr. Tran says the sugery went well. I was in surgery for about 5 hours and in the recovery room for 3 more. Rick and Randy sat the day with Gale while Jackie dropped in several times throughout the day, she was at work just down the hall a bit. Jackie has "connections" so she was able to see me in the recovery room. I got to my room late on Wednesday, I was good-for nothing for a couple of days. Donna and Rick and cindy stopped in on Thursday, I wasnt too with it yet, they tell me I snapped out of it Friday afternoon and started acting like i was alive again :) I finally got to talk to Jodi on the phone but jackie and Gale kept her up to date on my progress. I have 6 drains that the norsk has to help empty a couple times a day, we'll see how that goes.... Randy helped Gale get me home today, that went well, later Jackie and Rick came out and Jackie made us supper. Brianna, Chris and Megan just stopped in to see me and I now have more flowers that arent in the picture below.

Thanks to all of you for your calls, cards, flowers etc. I'll be up and about in no time at all, wish me well.

I was so excited and happy to hear your feisty, sassy, comments about the nurses while you were in the hospital. I love your spirit Mary! This is what makes you so special! I am soooo happy you are on your way to wellness. Congrats! You're amazing!
I love you Gran and I'm so happy that you are doing well. Keep healing and keep pushing forward! You're an amazing Grandma! i'm lucky to have you. Get well and thanks for letting me come and see you!
