Cancor benifit!

We were out to the airport conplex for a benifit for Frank Simmons. He was found to have cancer the first part of March. He has been going thro cemo and raditation. The tumors have shrunk some but he is far from out of the woods yet. We seen the whole Milkie family. You wouldn't believe Shelly. She had bypass surgery a year ago after a few bouts of almost losing her life. She has lost 175 pounds. She was over 300. Deb has the cutest grandkids. The one is milkie to the bone. We seen Bob De Freeze and his dad. Scott Simmons was up from Tx. Kelly Jenderson and many more. It was fun to see all of the old neighborhood kids. Deb has had 2 terms of mayor of Elgin and is going to run again this fall.
There was a silent action and a live one plus a brunch. When we left they had served over 600 people.and still going. The place was packed.
We stopped at Fleet Farm and got crab grass food and Dad is now putting it on the lawn.
