The Trip !!

Well all you wondering folks I thought I would let you know why you couldn't get ahold of us.
We went on a road trip for our anneriversary. We left here about 9:30 Friday morning and headed over to Trempealeau, Wi where my high school friend lives. We surprised her. She was busy, but we stayed for about 2 hours and chatted. Her sister-in-law and niece was there helping her. She had to clear out 2 rooms. They are in the process of addinf onto their house. Her husbands sistrt and mother are moving in with them. Her mother-in-law is in her 90's. I thought I had a lot of junk. After we left there we found a cafe and ate. Then we headed for Sirein to visit Jake and Holly. We stayed in the Best Westeren lodge. Of course Gramps had to voice his comment on the price. I told him I was worth it. You can't take it with you. We got up Sat. morning and ate in the lodge. They had quiet an asortment of food. After that we headed out to the store. We looked around there for a while then headed out to the cabin. Holly was in the shower and jake was on the phone. They were really surprised. Hannha has grown so much. Grace is suce a little card. She was bashful at first but then watch out. What a little cutie. Holly's friend was there. Her and Holly were scrapbooking. Her name is Jill. She has 2 boys and is expecting her third baby in July.
We visited for a long time and then we went with Jake out to his folk's farm. Boy could you get lost in the boonies up there. Karen, jakes mom, made coffee and she had made a great big pan of bars. did they ever look good I have to get that receipe. We left there and went back to Holly's store. I bought some stuff.
Boy dose she have a lot of things in there. Holly came to the store, she had some questions to ask Gramps about a case and a stove. She didn't know what the display case was used for in the olden days. Gramps is going to try to find out what it is called.
It was fun to get away from here. I found out Gramps don't even know what direction he is going even with a compass in the car. Uffda.
We got home to 7 messages on the phone. I don't even know some of the phone numbers that showed up on the I D caller.
Thank you all for the computer cards. Randy is way ahead on points. He sent flowers. The dumb deliver from Flowers by Jerry sat them on the front step and called to leave a message on the phone where they were and what time he left them off. What a nerd.
Well I Have tired fingers so will quit for now.
