A fun weekend

Jodi, Jensen and I went to watch the Hot air ballons fly off into outer space on Saturday evening. I packed a picnic and we sat on the ground and watched. They took off an hour lateer than they were suposed to. Jensen had fun playing with a little boy and girl. The boy was 3 and his little sis was about 18 months.
On Sunday we went to the tractor pull in Mantorville with Rick and Cindy. We toured some old homes and it brought back some memories of how I used to live back in the olden days. One stove pipe up through the ceiling to warm two rooms up staires. Ice 3 inches thick on the windows. Having goose bumps where you hadn't otta have goose bumps. Stuff like that. We even had strawberry short cake. Mine was a liter version. Just the biscut and a few berries. It was a fun weekend. Didn't have to watch the grass grow.
