My life is so exciting that I haven't had an update.
We went for a ride on Thursday. Of course we ended up down at Marilyns. She wasn't home(that's par). She was off hauling the boys to their ball game. Mitch can't play he hurt his foot in an accident. It could have been a lot worse than it was. We had to run around looking for them. We got to the field after they were done. Caught up with them at a dariy queen. Went back out to the farm. Marilyn made coffee and sliced a great big piece of bunt cake for Gramps and put a big hunk in front of me too. I told her I couldn't have it and ended up telling her all about the surgery. Then Kermy came in and had to explain it all again. Also answer his dumb questions. He came up with some duzzies. We finally got on our way home. Gramps lasted about 10 miles from Marilyns and I had to drive. He zonked in seconds. It's like hauling a corpse. Head back against the seat, mouth hanging open and snoring. I'm glad he was on the other side of the car so not many people seen him. They probably would have called 911.
On Friday we went to Abbot for my 3 week meeting with the dietician. I get to add a lot of new foods to my meals. She was happy with my progress. They weren't able to get me in to see Dr. Chute, so I have to go back up on Wed. I'm a pro at getting around up there. Knock on wood no wrong turns. Clear sailing. After that we deceied to go have lunch with Jodi & Darin. They weren't home. Darin had her at the emergency room. She reacted to her anti-biotic from her finger surgery. So we came home. Again I ended up driving. Gramps didn't sleep he read the paper. We stopped in CVannon Falls for a bite to eat. I orded an egg cottage cheese and toast. It was all gross. The toast wasn't cooked enough. I told her a 1/2 cup cottage cheese and she brought a soup cup full. The egg was mutalated. I neva have seen such a sad egg in all my life. It was so dry I could hardly even swallow it. I can't drink with my meals so I had to force it down. The clinker was it cost over $5.00 for that poor excuse of a meal. Oh Well.
