Quiet at last!!!!!

Turkey day was a blast. good food, lots to eat, and good people all around. Of course the kids were the high lite. Lots of things to make me laugh.

It was not a good day for cars. Randy's got sick and had to be fixed. I got an e-mail from my sister and she went to Wi with her son and family. Their car broke down. They were near a friend so they limoed the car to his house and borrowed one of their cars. They got out on the road again and a deer came out of the ditch and nailed them. so they had to call the friend to rescue them from that. They finally got to where they were going.

Yesterday we went to Marilyn and Kermys. Bob's family was there along with Steve, Monica, and boys. Oh kyle(Heather's hubby) was there too. We played picturtionary. What a blast. I drew three cards in a row that were the pits. So needless to say I put them back. Here are the three I drew Venus,Pharaoh, and Bearnick. I seperated them so they won't be together again. The fourth card I drew was oxygon tank. I drew that one and Hillary guessed it. There was and all play and it was Mitch's turn to draw. on the other teams it was Monica and Heather to draw. The word was braille. Mitch looked at it and passed it to Monica and said"what do you think of that". It was so funny. our team guessed it. We ended up winning. The team was Mitch, Hillary. Dad and me. We rocked.

Someone told Marilyn to sit down because she did all the cooking. Haa Haa she had the turkey and stuffing made by one of the stores down there. Heather & Hillary made squash and they put a hole cup of brown sugar in it. It was just carmelized and kinda sweet. I carved the bird. The knives were so dull I could have rode all the way home sitting on the blade and would not have been cut. So I tore the turkey apart with a dull knife. Bob and I tried to sharpen two of them but the sharpener wasn't very good so it didn't work.

I have been awake since 4:oo and have my laundry going. Guess who's butt will be dragging by noon?

Well enough already.

later gator

LOL, gran you are funny. I laughed at the part about sitting on the knife the whole way home. When you said the "kids" were the entertainment at Thanksgiving, I'm assuming you were referring just to me, ahehahehaehaheh. jk. Thanks for having Thanksgiving for us!! I loved it!!!
